Full-Arch Restoration

A Complete & Healthy Smile

Missing or failing teeth is an unfortunate but common problem. This issue can affect your oral health as well as your confidence—pain, trouble eating, feeling afraid to smile, difficulty speaking, and more are all common complications of tooth loss. The good news is that there are many tooth restoration options. Dr. Livesay, Dr. Carey, and Dr. Naselsker at Innovative Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Studio specialize in dental implant-based tooth restorations, including full-arch restoration.

With full-arch restoration, an entire upper or lower arch of teeth can be restored at once. Using as few as four dental implant posts, a natural-looking and fully functional prosthesis is placed, allowing the patient to enjoy eating, speaking, and feeling good about their smile again.

If you have multiple teeth that are missing or failing, we encourage you to contact our office. A member of our team will schedule a consultation for you to meet with one of our experienced oral surgeons, who will create a custom treatment plan to restore your smile and your oral health.

Benefits of Full-Arch Restoration

There are many reasons why patients choose full-arch restoration:

  • Complete smile restoration
  • Eat the foods you love
  • Restore facial balance
  • Protect jaw bone health
  • Fixed in the mouth—no messy adhesives or glues
  • Easy to care for
  • Custom made for a natural-looking smile
  • Can last a lifetime with proper care

Full-Arch Restoration Surgery

Your first appointment will be a consultation visit at our office. At this appointment, you can expect your oral surgeon to review your medical history, perform an oral examination, and discuss your options for treatment. 3D scans may also be taken. Your options for anesthesia will also be discussed. This initial visit is also a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Your surgical procedure will begin with the administration of anesthesia. Once you are comfortable, the surgery will begin. Your surgeon will place the implant posts into the jaw bone. Once placed, a temporary prosthesis will be placed on top of the dental implants. Once the dental implants have successfully fused with the jaw bone, your final, custom-made prosthesis will be placed.

If you do not have sufficient bone in the jaw to support the implant, bone grafting may be necessary before you undergo full-arch restoration.

Types of Anesthesia

Our practice offers several forms of anesthesia.
